  04/27/2018: Okay, let me tell you about Dr. Gutta. I went to his office this week with very low expectations, given the way that previous physicians have treated me. I was wracked with nerves when he came in the room, but when he started talking I realized that he was not operating on the assumption that I was just some pill-seeking fraud. He treated me with so much compassion and understanding that when I reached my car afterwords, I burst into tears of relief. After being written off by endless physicians, as a pill-seeking junkie, Dr. Gutta took me seriously and invested trust in me getting better. I am a young adult, and he treated me no differently than he would a geriatric patient in terms of pain management.
  
  Dr. Gutta then prescribed a groundbreaking medicine that treats both chronic pain and opioid dependency. So far the dosage indicated has brought pain levels down below 5 and I've been able to cut back on the NSAIDs that have been tearing my stomach lining to shreds.
  
  Dr. Gutta is very straightforward and to-the-point. This may throw some patients off, but I found it refreshing. Answer his questions honestly, and have notes prepared.
  
  The nurses and office staff were all incredibly patient and caring, and I was seen quickly - almost as soon as I sat down. Receiving a referral to a psychiatrist and GP who will work as a team with Dr. Gutta was awesome!!
  
  I felt the need to leave a detailed review of my experience because I am straight-up impressed by the standard of care these physicians hold themselves to. Chronic Pain/Addiction treatment is fraught with emotionally-charged concerns, and I applaud Dr. Gutta for excelling in this oftentimes difficult practice.
