  My stay was very pleasant. Booking the stay, however, was comparatively difficult. When I arrived, close to midnight, to check in, I was told that payment had not gone through and I could not reserve a room. I've booked Motel 6 rooms online many times before and have never had an issue like this. To make matters worse, I had used someone else's card to pay for the room, and I didn't have that information with me when I arrived to check in. I was told that I needed to bring that person to the motel to pay for the room - which was impossible because it was midnight. o_O
  
  We eventually got it figured out, but as I said, this is the first time we have ever had this issue and it cost a lot of time and stress. Motel 6 gave me a certificate for a future stay, valid for a year, so the motel made good; I would suggest that Motel 6 check for any system glitches to prevent this happening to other guests.
